Alge on Tour

According to the Tennessian, Alge Crumpler is in Nashville today. He supposedly was in Tampa yesterday. Will he becoming to Seattle? Who Knows? If he makes it out of Nashville and heads towards Latte Land, I would say there is a good chance he stays for good. Carelester still lives in the area, and between him, Mora, Ruskell, and a 5th division championship, I can't see there being a better place. Despite what Mike Reinfeldt might think.

  1. This is huge it's time Tim get's Hass the help a QB like him deserves. I hope he makes it out if Tenn and makes his way here soon!

  2. I could live with signing Alge at the expense of losing Hackett...as much as I think we would be wise to sign DJ, too.

  3. Maybe the Hawks will turn to taking care of RB in FA with Michael Turner and then look to Dustin Keller in the 1st (if Alge doesn't come here).

I have a feeling Ruskell is going to take are of one more hole (TE, RB, or another decent G) via free agency before the draft.

  4. The rumor remains he was here the weekend after he was released staying with his brother.

Who knows who else he met with?

But, with the money the Titans have and the team they could field in two years it will be hard to think the Bucs or Hawks will get him.

We should hear soon - as he signs a contract.

  5. I think it would be a great addition to have "alge the cookie crumbler" at the Te spot, a nice big target like that will open up the passing game. We should only sign him to a 2yr deal max. This will allow us to take the best player at the 25 spot, we should also take a TE in the second round aswell and let him work behind alge for itleast a year. I love DJ but he can't stay on the field.

  6. Unless he's interested in coming here for a discount, which I highly doubt, I hope Reidfeldt doesn't let him leave Tennessee. Better things for the Hawks to spend big money on right now. Let's solve the TE riddle with a cheaper FA and an early draft pick.

And if we do end up signing him for high dollar, I hope I eat my words.

  7. I would rather have DJ than Alge.

Both are injury prone. Alge is pretty old and was cut by the Falcons because of knee troubles.
DJ can put up huge numbers.

Get a TE in the draft, sign franks to the vet minimum.

  10. he missed games this year and the falcons are only saving a lil over a million by cutting him.

This guy is bad news, stay away.

  11. Considering that the Seahawks are 1 of 7 teams pursuing him, it would appear that a good chunk of NFL personal guys feel he has something to offer. I would be worried if there was no competition to sign him.

  12. Where does it say he is on his way? I just see that he is scheduled to come here, I won't believe it until he's seen in SeaTac.

Any new news on his whereabouts?
