Come Watch Big Men Run

The O-linemen, Tight Ends, and Kickers are on the turf this morning. Will Fred Davis be the fastest TE? What will Jake Long do next? Will Gosder Cherilus eat a kicker??

  1. Thanks for the live blog, Michael. I am still watching it on NFL.com on Camera 1. The cameras do not take commercial breaks, unlike the main broadcast.

  2. Just finished the 3rd group drills online at NFL.com. There were some impressive guys in catching and running routes, but Fred Davis wasn't one of them today.

He continued to drop balls on several route variations.

  3. For you Cottam fans, I heard right at the end that he got hurt again and was unable to run routes. Do we really want DJ Hackett playing TE?

  4. I thought Davis looked better once they started running deep routes. He had the most crisp breaks out of any of the TE's

  5. His route running was definitely good on the deep routes, but he still dropped some more easy balls. When the NFL network was on commercial, they kept showing more footage online, and several drills I saw him run nice routes, then drop the ball.

  6. Yeah, Cottam may have gotten a slight hammy pull, they said. Gotta watch leg injuries with these big guys!

  7. I think Keller from Purdue Looks Great
We should pick him Then we would have Heller and Keller at TE.

  9. Keller does look great, but he's also an H-back and not a true tight end. I thought Fred Davis hurt his stock with a serious case of the dropsies. Otah (OT) didn't help his stock either with a 5.56 40 and getting too vertical on the blocking drills.

  10. Once they get the pads on, Otah will show what he's made of. The TE situation looks wide open to me. I WAS on board with Carlson, but his performance sure dropped him in my books. Davis gave me flashbacks of "Jeremy Stevens" with his drops....
