Mack Being Considered For RB coach

This was mentioned here the moment Stump Mitchell left, however, now it is official that he is in the running. Frank Hughes confirmed this by talking to Mike Holmgren. Ernest Byner is also being considered. The story is right here at Seahawks Insider. It would appear that the job is Mack's if he wants it.

  1. I've got a solution for the Hawk's problems!

Lets say the Hawks really do fall in love with Mendenhall or Stewart and its clear they aren't gonna get one at 25. Set this blockbuster up with Detroit: Trade our 1st, 2nd and 4th round picks to the Lions. In return we get their first (#15) and Shaun Rogers. We solve 2 of our biggest needs at RB and DT (assuming we could pay Rogers, and I know he's not a seahawk type guy) and they get an extra, good draft pick for their crappy team. Peter King just wrote that Rogers will likely be traded for a 4th on draft day, just like we did with D Jack. In my fantasy world, this sounds great.

  2. Adam Schefter said that the Lions already have 4 people willing to meet their demands for Rodgers. They are just waiting for the new year to officially start. I am gonna bet the Hawks aren't one of them, but you never know

  3. Hey Mike,
Can you put a "return to top" at the bottom of the comment pages?
It's hard to get back on a page with a lot of posts

  4. Not sure what you mean exactly, but I will look into it. What i do, is if you click read more or the post title it allows you to read the comments on the main page. Then you can just use the top of the actual comment page. Maybe that helps??

  5. No, I mean a "Top of Page" link, or a "return to Seahawk Addicts".

When you finish reading all of the comments, you could click on this instead of hitting the back button.

  6. Try the link that says HOME right at the bottom of the individual post page. Also there is a link at the top of the separate comments page where it says "Post a Comment On: Seahawk Addicts"

  9. According to Great Blue North Draft Report, Shaun Rogers cap hit if he's traded will $16 mil over the next couple of years. Plus they report he has cartilege issues in his knees and ankles. He was suspended 4 games in 2006 for testing positive for an illegal substance (dietary supplement) and thus his next such offense would be an 8 game suspension. Things teams should (and I'm sure will) consider with this player.
