According to Danny O'Neil, Weaver has been tendered. Apparently what level of tender has been classified as top secret info. Why? Got me.
UPDATE-- Weaver got the 2nd round tender. Now was that so hard. He will be a Hawk next year.
Also, no word on whether or not Alvin Pearman, the Hawks other RFA, has been tendered.
UPDATE-- Pearman was not offered a tender. Good luck to you Alvin, hopefully we didn't end up having to give a pick for your brief contribution.
Also, Remember....ONLY SIX HOURS LEFT TO ENTER THE SEAHAWKADDICTS.COM DRAFT GEAR CONTEST. The info can be found right here. As of now, less than 40 people have entered so your odds of getting the gear seem pretty good. Especially if you are skilled at understanding the WR free agent market. Good Luck.

ReplyDeleteI just had to click on the Crack Cocaine adds, to give this site another $.25 in income to support my Seahawks addiction.
ReplyDeleteMike, Danny ONeil just updated his post with this, looks like you were nuts on with the 2nd round tender call:
ReplyDeleteUpdate, 3:38 p.m. PST: Weaver was given a second-round tender. The offer is for $1.47 million. The Seahawks would receive a second-round pick as compensation if he signed with another team.
RB Alvin Pearman was not tendered. He therefore is free to sign with any team. It remains possible that he could come back to Seattle.
David Kirtman and Lance Laury were given tenders as well, making them exlusive-rights free agents. They can only sign with the Seahawks.
wow lorenzo neal got released...umm, please?
ReplyDeleteIs a second rounder reasonable compensation for Weaver? I might prefer to have Weaver. What do the addicts think?
ReplyDeleteThats a tuff one, i love weaver but i wouldn't franchise him or anything like that. Also lorenzo is 37 or 38 and I think his leg is still broken.
