In a surprise move, the Tampa Bay Bucs have focused on Niko Koutovides.
They are looking at him in a backup role. Unfortunately, the Hawks can't pay nearly as much for back ups as the Bucs can right now. That said, Niko, primarily a middle linebacker, has little chance of seeing regular duty for the Hawks due to the presence of Lofa Tatupu.
--Right now, it would seem the Skins are focused on Todd Collins, so Hackett may be over their heads as well.
--Also Kwamme Harris has agreed with the Raiders. The Niners have already lost two linemen so far. Now it will be a race to see who can dislocate body parts of Alex Smith. I hope we play them in week 2! UPDATE--11:10, this is not confirmed and other suitors have entered, however it appears Harris won't be in SF either way.

YES!!!! I can't wait for the Sugarbear Squash Part II!

If they lose any more lineman between now and the draft, maybe they give in to the inevitable and draft a QB knowing that Alex Smith won't come out of next season alive.

Hey Mike just out of curiosity... Do you make your money when we simply click on the ads or do we actually have to make a purchase through them?
ReplyDeleteDon't do it Niko! Your name is far too Greek to be affiliated with those scurvey ridden Bucs!
ReplyDeleteAnd Mike, how much money do you make per ad or per click?
ReplyDeleteWow, it's a sad day in San Fran. I hope Holmgren (the GM) doesn't want to part of that.
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't wish for the success of the 49ers, but the loss of Kwame Harris is a gain. He was a holding, false start machine, and a major disappointment for them. I AM chuckling about the prospect of a Harris/Gallery tackle combo. :)
ReplyDeleteSeatowntp-- The google ads, the ones that change depending on content pay per click and per page view. The ones I have affilated with, Travelocity, Fathead, Micthell & Ness, Fans Edge, and stub hub (i took this off for now). Those are done on commission. I some point i may sell those spots, but untill i have time to figure that out i thought i would put up stuff that might interest people or have Hawk stuff associated with them. So if you have to buy a plane ticket through travelocity, get there from the site and it helps support the cause. or just buy a fathead. My woman won't let me have one, damn her!
ReplyDeleteThe guys on NFL Network just speculated that the Hawks could be the lead candidate for Crumpler due to our "intense need" for a TE and the reunion with Mora. Could we snag Crumpler and then pick up a TE in the third round? Seems like a pretty loaded draft, yeah?
