Here is another take on Mr. DJ Hackett returning home to Seattle. Charles and Stan from Inside the Panthers note that this is following the pattern of all the previous free agents who have signed in Charlotte.
The story from the other local paper yesterday hinted that his visits were mostly for show and that Seattle had the upper hand. It is nice to see competing view points coming from the right coast.
My thoughts are that Tim Ruskell has a length and value he is willing to give DJ. If Carolina offers more that that, then it will be up to DJ to decide which coast he wants to play on. While many remain unsure of the young WR's, their mere presence on the roster creates leverage for the Hawks. END.

It will pay for DJ to stay and hpoefully have a productive year. Most likely he will get hurt again and we will see what Payne, Logan and Kent can do.
ReplyDeleteI can't take this anymore! Lock him up for the year for goodness sake! He's so much fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteAccording to PFT.com our adjusted cap for 2008 is
ReplyDeleteSeattle Seahawks: $124,115,000
Which implies we have a LOT of cap space.. because I believe we were around 108,000,000 before signing our duo of RBs
Unfortunately no, that is figured into my projections as a negative number, under cap credits. So what we have is in relation to the normal 116.7. We have about 6 million in space according to me, and less according to John Clayton.
