The Hawks have called a 12:30 PM press conference for today. Sorry for the late post, I have been out of range. I can't wait until I can blog from my cell.
I will be all over this, I am hoping they broadcast as per usual at Seahawks.com

I am hoping it has nothing to do with Coach Holmgren, I find it odd that it is he and Ruskell. I am off to search for what it might be, I haven't even begun looking yet, I just walked in the door.
UPDATE--My Mistake, I would like to credit Ryan Divish and the News Tribune with announcing that the Hawks are having a press conference. At no point was I trying to claim credit for this. I just didn't realize that the story was that there was a press conference as much as what they are saying. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Hey mike, you do have a problem with the blog. I too can only see the last 5 (now) blog items, but the 5th one is just cutoff, and it's just blue space below it, no bottom footer, not even links to comment on the 5th post. Also there is no right side menu of items, just empty blue space. Everything is gone from over there too.
ReplyDeleteOnce I click one of those top 5 items to go into it, then the right side menu shows up again, and the bottom footer & ad are there.
I'll take a shot and say this is going to be a "running game" press conference (which really means a shaun update). Maybe they'll talk about Solari, New RB coach, Wahle, Duckett, Jones, Alexander. Those are some major makeovers so there is a lot to "officailly" update. Most likely they are tired of the constant questions about shaun. Could be totally wrong though, who knows? I hope they touch on Mo Mo's status.

What is Ruskell's history with press conferences? Does he use them to announce major player moves? I can't remember. I know he uses them for major coaching changes. What has been the pattern of previous conferences?

ReplyDeletereports show that Mo Morris will be competeing for the starting job against Jones. I suspect they will be talking about the running game; unless Trufant resigned, but highly unlikely. Ruskell uses press conferences to announce coaching changes yes, but he also uses them to help clear the air with unresolved issues having to do with personel issues.

ReplyDeleteAlso I might add in Mikes defense he doesn't have Team access like Frank does. Yet he some how beats Frank to the punch at times. Sounds like an angry TNT emplyees post to me. No worries Mike!
ReplyDeleteMike has consistently given credit to Frank and TNT in the past so there is nothing intentional there IMO. It looks like he just came back and got the post up fast without digging for individuals sources.
