ESPN Fan Mock Draft

Espn is holding a fan mock draft. Currently the Seahawks are on the clock. Your votes determine who they will take. Why ESPN would put the Seahawks on the clock at 9am Eastern Time is another story. You have until 10am PST to vote. Anyway, here is the link, Seahawk Addicts endorses either Brandon Albert or Derrick Harvey.

  1. I thought you were endorsing Kentwan Balmer? I wanted to pick some folks that werent even listed by ESPN.

  2. I am pretty sure i have never said anything nice about Kentwan Balmer. Just because of the position??

I don't like the fact that he was essentially wasting his talent the first 3 years at school and then played his heart out when draft position was on the line.

  3. Voted for Chris Williams who seems pretty good.

  4. I voted for Albert. Chris Williams looks like our pick though. Either is good with me. Can't believe McKelvin is still there.

  5. Albeit from a limited list, I chose Balmer, with Bernard's contract up after this year and Tubbs' uncertainty (his contract expires, too).

I like Albert, but would he really come in immediately and play ahead of our other guards? Somehow I doubt it.

Williams could be groomed to replace Walter, who's decline is overblown...

McKelvin will not be there at our pick, anyway - agreed mysehawks

  6. Is there any shot of the Hawks getting Stewart? How badly do you think the FO wants this guy? Obviously, we're not sitting in code-red (w/ the signings of Jones and Duckett), but we do need a back for the future...

The guy wants to be in Seattle, and we want him here too...Make it happen!

  7. If Williams "falls" to the Seahawks I dont see how they pass. The pick in this scenario I would think is Williams.

I just dont think its realistic though.. we shall see.

  8. I done think harvey would be there in the real draft but for this one I took him. Would we take the cb if he fell that far in the real draft i would rather trade back

  9. Mike -

    Selection: Chris Williams, OT

Matt Williamson says: "Well ... it is about time! This qualifies as the absolute steal of the SportsNation draft and clearly Williams is far too good of a prospect to pass up this late in the first frame. Williams is a natural left tackle and would eventually succeed Walter Jones in that role in Seattle, but in the meantime, Williams will challenge Sean Locklear as the starting right tackle, or more likely, would be moved inside to guard for the short term. Williams is big, smart, athletic and versatile. Adding a player with his skill set to this line is a home run for the Seahawks. Like I said -- it is about time!"

This would be great but unrealistic

  10. At some point you have to decide, even if he is the best player available, would he get to play on this team?????

He may challenge Lock, but Lock would play....they just handed him a 12 million dollar check!!!!!

As for Williams playing guard, that is the first I have heard of it. Isn't he too tall??? I think he is 6'7"
