In case you don't get NFL Network, or don't really feel like watching Marshall Faulk embarrass himself on a regular basis, you may have missed that they are doing their own version on the sweet sixteen. Yes, its March, more brackets. The Seahawks have been posed against the Eagles in round 1 in the 8/9 game.
Solomon Wilcox took the Hawks to advance to the Elite 8 in a tasty match up against the Patriots. He even went as far as to say that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the NFC with their improved running game. The only lower seed he took was Cleveland over Pittsburgh.
Marshall Faulk of course took the Eagles to beat the Seahawks. No surprise, apparently he is a bit sick of the Hawks smacking around the Rams for the last 3 years. 6 in a row baby! Eat it Marshall!!
Also, if you haven't checked Dave Krieg's Strike Beard in a while, he is on to the sweet sixteen of the greatest Seahawk of all time. *Cough*TEZ!!!*Cough* Make sure you get over there and cast your votes. It is a moral imperative. You can use the link provided, or the banner currently residing above the most recent post. END
Seriously, Michael, what have the Hawks done to Faulk that is so egregious that it warrants his obvious distaste for our organization? Is there a back story that I'm missing? Hass obviously can't stand Faulk and goes out of his way to ignore Marshall's snarky comments during interviews.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the beef?
I think Hass is just being smart by not letting an argument break out. Dislike him, I'm not sure. 5 and likely 6 NFC West championships could possibly do it I'd say for Faulk.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big Marshall Faulk fan, but I have seen him speak well of the Seahawks several times before. I remember wondering what was going on because he is a former Ram. He's usually objective about our team, I've found.
ReplyDeleteThat being said: Philly over Sea? - I don't think so. Not unless they get some WR help...plus Westbrook is still a health risk for them, as is the QB.
Could someone enlighten me as to why Hass and Faulk don't get along? thanks.
ReplyDeleteJoey it is mostly speculation that I doubt either would admit to, but recently, at the SB and the PB, there has been a noticeable distaste between the two. It is actually comical. I wish I had some great story, but I don't think anybody really knows.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I was hoping they had some major trash talk going at one point during a rams/hawks game. oh well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael!
I watched that and I knew before hand that faulk would pick the Eagles over us.
