Here is just a little more on the USC pro day. I found this and thought that it matched mine pretty closely, which is nice. Rob Rang thought Davis did enough.
Also, these pictures are considerably better than mine, so check em out.
uh...you're blowing whatever cred you built up with all this USC worship. We are SEAHAWK fans, like in Seattle, like in UW.
ReplyDeleteAs far Hawks blogs go...next
"blowing whatever"
ReplyDeleteHey, I do not see you (or for that matter me) going out and doing a million hours a week of research and writing to keep this site up. Being a Seahawks fan does NOT require you (IMHO) to drink the UW Kool-Aid, while it might be nice, it aint a requirement.
MS does a fantastic job of staying on top of things, and without any visible inside connections having a lot of very timely stuff.
The Huskies suck Mike. They only win when they have thugs on the team (2000). Willingham thinks hes a Marine, he isnt even tough enough to be a Navy Nurse. The guy is busy screwing over his only good RB James Hasty (J Stewart II) and wont even let the kid play, because he doesnt kiss Willinghams ass enough.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Stewart is thanking his lucky stars he went to Oregon instead.
Liking the Hawks has nothing to do with the Huskies.
By the time Willingham is done at UW, they will be lucky to beat a Division III 8-man team.

Sorry Mike... I understand that Huskies fans are real big on USC. However, I went to the PRO DAY. I am trying to provide another perspective on the what goes on with the draft.
ReplyDeleteUSC was both close, and has a lot of prospects. Do you hate Lofa because he went to USC?? Because that would be silly. None of these guys are Trojans anymore, they are all possible future Seahawks
Mike,
ReplyDeleteShutup. If you don't like the blog, go read somewhere else. MS does a great job with his coverage and I haven't found anything better.
The only thing the Huskies are good at is women's volleyball. The football team truly sucks.
MS- great coverage of an important pro day. Lofa was a Trojan- nuff said. By the way, I'm a Husky fan...and I'm not sure if ANY Huskies will be drafted this year. Their Pro Day was only slightly more significant than the shower I took this morning. Maybe in a couple years their pro day will regain the prominance it once had. JR Hasty = idiot.
ReplyDeleteDid you attend the open practice at UW last Summer? The guy was seriously confused. You expect that from a Frosh, not someone of his experience level in that program. I hate the Ducks and I will tell you this- Jonathon Stewart is ten times the football player that J.R. Hasty ever will be. Why? Because he loves the game and is COMMITTED to improving himself as a football player. That means working on his body AND HIS MIND. If his body holds up J.Stew will be an all-pro some day. JR Hasty will be lucky to get ten carries in a game. The guy just doesn't get it. Too bad, because the Dawgs need someone to step up. JR Hasty is one brain cell smarter than Andre DeSaussure and Craig Chambers. Well, maybe not Chambers.
Mr. Steffes, good stuff. I am glad to see that you are not a slave to the business man.

wow, PapaHawk, Hasty really got you going! No, I didnt watch last years practice, but it has been an ongoing soap opera. You're right, there are always two sides to every story though.
ReplyDeleteChambers didnt do anything wrong that I saw. Every time he took the field for the Huskies, he shined. he didnt go along with thier BS in practice, he never got angry, just was a laid-back dude. He practiced hard, but becuase coaches didnt see him getting a worked up they decided he wasnt a "team player".
Funny, no one ever complained about his work ethic when he transferred to Univ. of Montana where he played with another screwed-over player from WSU, Josh Swogger.
Well, I wasnt there at practice and team meetings, so it wouldnt surprise me if my opinion is full of crap.
Sorry about all the UW bashing. Theyve run the integrity of thier team into the ground since losing James and now they cant even win football games...and the 2000 team stories in the Times really got me worked up I guess...

Mike,
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure that Davis has
been the beneficiary of a program
that get's it tight end involved
with the game.
He looked tight, but bigger and
stronger than I remember last fall.
He looked tight, especially in
the 40 and agility drills. He looked every bit as slow as his
times.
I think he'd be a better value at
our second round pick, but unless
we take him in the first round, I
don't see him going until the 10th-20th pick in the second round.
