Kicker to Keep Your Eyes On

Since we all know the Seahawks are in the market for a kicker, I found this report from the New Jersey Ledger interesting. Apparently the kicker from Wagner put on quite a show.

His name is Piotr Czech. He seems to have a lot of leg and is able to kick in inclement weather. Plus, guess what Wagner's nickname is.....The Seahawks. Perfect! I dig it. NFL DRAFT SCOUT has him rated as the 7th best kicker.

While Josh Brown may have gotten linebacker money, this guy has linebacker size(6'5", 210). Hopefully we can see him blowing up kick returners while wearing neon green shoes next year.

  1. Yes, only on Seahawks Addicts can you get analysis on what the Seahawks might do for a kicker. I love it. This guy can kick 6 yards deep in the end zone, much improved, although I don't know if that was into the wind or with the wind. 7th rated kicker, that must mean he'll go undrafted, and we can save the 7th round pick for another secret squirrel WR.

  4. Sorry Snuggles if I took it the wrong way, did it possibly have poor language in it? The discussion was off topic in that thread and quite heated. I only delete comments in extreme circumstances. I am going to be extremely vigilant making sure this site does not end up like some of the other Seahawk blogs. No hard feelings.

  5. I agree with Surf, he'll probably go undrafted and i'm guessing they would also draft a kicker to compete if they are able to grab him.

  6. It's appreciated, Michael. I rarely ever get into discussions on sports sites because the vitriol gets so out of control that it sucks all the fun out of the conversation.
