The Seahawks got the ball back with a chance at the end again, and Matt Hasselbeck chucked a pick on the very next play. In a similar ending with a similar result to last week, the Hawks fall again. Just in case you want to talk about it, I thought I would you give you the post to vent in.
Bummer, I thought they had this one. Pinned at the 2, the Redskins moved the entire length of field. The defense had been on the field 14 more minutes than the offense at that point and it showed. Morris ran great, but I felt he was underutilized, especially when the Hawks got the ball with about 8 minutes to go. Holmgren chose to pass on 1st down from the 40, Hass was sacked, and with a 2nd and 17 it looked like the Hawks would have to rely on their defense again. That has not been a recipe for success this year, and it didn't work out any better this afternoon. Hey, at least we won't have to fret this one too long, as the Hawks will be back on the field on Thursday, which is Thanksgiving Day.
