Seahawks Will Host Memorial for Tuba Man

The Seahawks will host a memorial November 12th at Qwest Field for Edward McMichael, better known as Seattle's "Tuba Man," who died earlier this week. Doors will open at 5:30, with the service beginning at 6:30. Admission to the event is free, and fans can donate to the memorial fund at the following address:

Complimentary parking at Qwest's north lot will also be provided starting at 5:30.

We at SeahawkAddicts are sending our best to the family and friends of The Tuba Man, whose death was truly saddening, especially given the state of Seattle sports over the past year. It's truly heartbreaking to lose an icon like McMichael.

In other news, sorry about the slow blog today - Steffes and Matthew are MIA, I'm swamped at work, and Sullivan is off on the east coast somewhere celebrating his honeymoon.
