Jason Babin Signed by Chiefs

Jason Babin, who was acquired in the trade for Michael Boulware last year and then released after the first game of this season, was signed to a contract by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Apparently the Tennessee Titans were also interested, but Babin chose the Chiefs, hoping to earn immediate playing time. He expected to be in uniform for the game this weekend versus the New Orleans Saints.

One another note, I have thoroughly enjoyed the conversation centered around the future of the Seahawks taking place in the comments this morning. It represents a return to the quality, productive discussions that this blog had going before the season went south. It has been a welcome oasis in this disappointing season. ~END~
