The Seahawks cut TE Jeb Putzier today and signed S Jamar Adams from the practice squad.
It seems like the team decided to mix things up a little more in the secondary, which can only be a good thing at this point in the season. With John Carlson performing well and Will Heller coming back off an injury, Putzier was amounting to nothing more than dead weight, so this move makes perfect sense. Adams had an impressive preseason, and he just might get his shot to make a difference come tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope he does. -END-
