As we move closer to draft day, it seems even less certain who the Hawks may target to be the tight end of the future. In fact, it seems recently, no one is even sure who the top tight end is.
If you want to read up a bit and familiarize yourself with this years tight end class, Evan Sliva of Rotoworld has a nice write up. He covers the top 10 tight ends, in his opinion.
Either way, the Hawks are in a tricky spot for picking a tight end. If they wait till the second, expect the run on tight ends to have started, with several possibly coming off the board before the Hawks pick. I would guess that Buffalo and Minnesota are targeting 2nd round TE's. However, there is no real first round talent at tight end in this draft, so taking one at #25 is quite a reach. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. END
