The Seahawks are talking to teams about moving down in the draft. This is according to Frank Hughes at the TNT. He and the other beat writers got to meet with Tim Ruskell today.
As you know, Seahawk Addicts has been in support of this from the very beginning. With the shortened time between picks, it is smart to begin the discussions now. The trade wouldn't be made until it was clear that no one they wanted was slipping. But to make it clear to teams now that the pick is for sale is smart business.
Whether or not they find a partner is probably dependent on how the QB market shapes up. However, it is conceivable that someone would move up to take a Kenny Phillips, a Gosder Cherilus, or even a Jarrod Mayo. Depending on who is available. END
