Here is an interesting take by someone who knows the Hawks well, Mike Sando. He says that the schedule will give Holmgren plenty of ammunition to play the no respect card.
The schedule makers have handed Mike Holmgren one of his more familiar and effective motivational tools. He has taken that approach when the Seahawks received relatively few prime-time games in years past. I'm thinking he'll hit that theme repeatedly this season. Throw in the earliest possible bye week -- Sept. 28 -- and Holmgren will have plenty of material.
