Thanksgiving

by: Michael Steffes

The Hawks have been given the distinct honor of playing in Dallas on Thanksgiving. This puts them at a serious disadvantage because of traveling on the short week. It is slightly mitigated if the Redskins are bad this year, which I expect. Also, it benefits in that they have the Patriots 10 days later in a prime time game, which may be the Hawks best showing of the year.

If the Hawks can win in Dallas, come home and beat New England, it will be hard for them to be ignored as a Superbowl contender. Assuming both of those teams live up to expectations.

Let me catch my breath, and then I will come back and break it down and give my predictions. Thanks. END
