What teams have been the most successful in recent years? Do you know? Well, Sheil Kapadia of the Baltimore Sun has decided to take a look.
Now hopefully the results won't surprise you. But sometimes it seems like Seahawks fans, these days, suffer from an acute case of lofty expectations. To quote Kapadia....
"would you have guessed that besides New England and Indy, the Seahawks are the only other team to have made the playoffs in each of the past five seasons? And no other team has made the postseason more than three times."Not me, I am very aware of this. But many around the country probably will be surprised by this. Especially those on the east coast where this paper originates. Simply put, the Seahawks just don't get the pub they deserve. It is nice to see someone take notice. However, one of the reasons I always feel compelled to post stuff like this, is I want to make sure Seahawk fans know it too. These truly are the glory days of Seahawk football, despite the cries of "easy schedule", or "soft divison." We have it better than 90% of the fans of this league, and to me, that is fan-freakin'-tastic! Happy Monday Hawk Fans! END
