John Carlson Interview

John Carlson was on with Adam Schein and Solomon Wilcots on the Sirius Blitz this morning. Here are some of the highlights.

Carlson says he has been told as high as the second and as low as the fourth. He would really appreciate it if somebody would take him in the second so he can celebrate Saturday night.

He claims to be as healthy as he has been in 3 or 4 years. Apparently he has had knee problems in the past.

He has met with 19 different teams at the combine. He had a visit to Buffalo and an individual workout with the Falcons.

He has had contact with the Seahawks, primarily at the combine. He said he thinks they were at his Pro Day, but it doesn't sound like they talked with him at that time.

He also played tennis. He thinks it has helped him with footwork and coordination.
He says the film will speak for itself on the blocking.

Thats all folks! In my opinion he is the most complete tight end in the draft. Some think he is the top guy on the board, but that doesn't seem to mesh with what he has been told. Of course, nobody tells the truth this time of year, so I guess we will wait until the weekend and find out.
