Leonard Weaver To Sign

Frank Hughes at the TNT is reporting that Leonard Weaver will sign his second round RFA tender tomorrow. No breaking news here. Tomorrow is the last day he can be signed to an offer sheet. So, much as predicted, he waited it out, nobody wanted to give up a second rounder and he will therefore be a Hawk again next year.

I expect Ruskell to take a wait and see approach to signing him long term. Basically, this is what his agent told Frank. They will make sure he is a capable full back before committing long term. Especially with all the backs currently vying for time and a possible change in scheme on the horizon. END
