Setting the Market on Kickers

According to a report by Ernie Palladino, Lawerence Tynes has just signed a new deal.

The particulars are 5 yr, 7 million. Now I would say Josh Brown is a better, and more consistent kicker. However, I don't remember him nailing a kick to send the team to a Superbowl. In fact, he missed a pair in the big game. That said, Brown will, and should get more. Hopefully, now that the market is set, his deal will get done soon.
