Time to Panic ?!?! Not Quite Yet

Another day closer to free agency and another player re ups with his former team. The hated Raiders have re signed 1000 yd back Huggy Bear Jr. Should Hawk fans be worried about the lack of any progress/info on deals with Trufant, Brown,Lock, and Hackett??

Well, actually the team was in a similar situation in 05'. Actually it was even more dire as the players involved were Hass, Big Walt, and Shaun. All three re-upped, obviously.

Walt signed on 2-16-05 and Hass signed on 2-22-05. Alexander then was franchised and worked out a deal where he played under the tender for 1 year only. The Hawks are notoriously tight lipped about ongoing negotiations. So, while the silence right now is deafening, lets not start pulling hair out quite yet. If their is no progress by this time next week, then I give you permission for 12 man meltdown.
