WOW!! Tuna Suprise!!!

Well, the Tuna didn't waste much time in making his presence felt. It was like Black Monday for Dolphins players. Miamidolphins.com reports here that the Tuna released 9 players today from the roster. They include:

Trent Green-- of absolutely no use to the Seahawks

Marty Booker-- who knows, could be cheap and useful if Hackett goes. At least he would bring a veteran presence

LJ Shelton- Started 16 games last year and can play guard or tackle. At worst he reduces the market for Pork Chop

Keith Traylor-- Big body, but over the hill. Never say never, but I would expect no interest from the Hawks

Joe Toledo-- Former tightend from UW. 2006 4th rounder. Now plays guard, and the Dolphins slotted him as their starter before a major foot surgery kept him out for the year. Anybody know if he is from the area?? More importantly does he have any talent??

OT's Anthony Allabi, Marion Dukes and DT's Marquay Love and Anthony Bryant are the other 4, - rotoworld.com says this... Alabi has the best shot to be claimed off waivers, as he has the ability to be a formidable backup left tackle. He'd only cost $520,000. Love and Dukes are borderline NFL players. Bryant is huge but has never made an impact.
