Jets Now in the Hunt for #2

by: Michael Steffes

Rich Esien is tweeting that the Jets are working on a deal for the Rams pick.

Okay, this is starting to piss me off. The Hawks worked for weeks to get everyone to believe they were into Sanchez, and then in a matter of days all that work is gone. Instead, St. Louis buys a plane ticket for Sanchez and now they are the hot spot to get him.

I understand. Right now, at 2, any team can guarantee they will get Sanchez. Maybe these teams will end up at #4 anyway, but if St. Louis trades out I think I am going to be bitterly disappointed, despite the probability that the Hawks will get the guy they want anyway.

What a wacky draft so far . . . oh, what's that? You say it hasn't even started yet? Huh.
