If the Hawks want more picks, they will likely be giving up players, although they could still trade a 6th or 7th in next year's draft as the Hawks will likely get more compensation picks. Maybe even a high one if they lose Leroy Hill.
However, rather than going that route, it might make sense to trade away some redundancy, like the second kicker. We kept Coutu, and Mare had a good year. Rookie kickers are risky, but Mare could be as well. Someone might be interested.
Mare seems like the only player the Hawks really have that could create interest. None of our reserve WRs will, unless Jim Zorn has a love fest with one of them, and the Hawks don't really have anyone else to offer.
Sure would be nice to get up and get a RB though, as that is one position that could have an immediate impact. Safeties seem to be sliding too, so the team may cross its fingers for a while and then decide to jump up. They could also just take a guy like Michael Hamlin, who seems that he could fall to the Hawks.
