New Regime = New QB?

by: Chris Sullivan

That's the typical belief. The guys over at Walter Football put this to the test by doing a team by team analysis. The result? "As you can see, new regimes do in fact mean new quarterbacks."

Here, however, is what is said about Seattle upon the advent of Ruskell:
Tim Ruskell has always had Matt Hasselbeck in his prime. Ruskell took a shot with David Greene in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft, a move which proved to be unsuccessful. Because Ruskell still has a lot of money invested in Hasselbeck, it's unlikely that the Seahawks will take a quarterback with the No. 4 overall selection.
So, we're one of the exceptions and they expect us to stay as one. Recent history, however, is not on Hasselbeck's side.
