The Spin Continues

by: Michael Steffes

Michael Crabtree is clearly the prospect of the day, at least as far as Seahawks rumors are concerned.

Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News has heard from from an NFL source that there is a STRONG possibility the Hawks will take Crabtree.

I wonder if this is the same guy who told Todd McShay the Seahawks were 80% sure they were taking Mark Sanchez? Seriously, since when does McShay have a clue what the Hawks are up to? It amuses me that he suddenly has a source close to the organization.

When you sit back and look at how the Seahawks have handled having the #4 pick through the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine, and free agency period, it really is a thing of beauty. A masterpiece. Hopefully for Tim Ruskell this will all end in sunshine and lollipops, because the effort they have put into keeping everyone guessing is something to be marveled at. He deserves some credit for these tactics, but none of it will matter if the Hawks don't get the scenario they really wanted.
