I know it's still very early on, but the Eagles, scheduled to come to Qwest for a Nov. 2 against the Hawks, look downright god-awful.
After failing to score on the first drive of the game on now against Carolina, they just attempted some flashy fake play on what appeared to be a 34-yard FG, only to have it backfire on them in the worst kind of way. Some Panther named Marshall ran out in front of the dish-out to the Eagles' tight end and carried the ball all the way to the end zone for a 60-something yard run, resulting in massive amounts of booing from Philly fans. (Nothing new there.)
Promptly after that, they nearly fumbled the kickoff, and then Correll Buckhalter got manhandled and thrown to the turf like he was made out of Styrofoam.
Keep it up, Eagles. Bring that sloppiness to Seattle and watch a repeat of a certain 2005 Monday night 42-0 blowout I can recall... -END-
