Absurd Draft Theory of the Day

Jamie Dukes over at the NFL Network has a noble idea -- the Lions will pass on Matt Stafford and draft Jason Smith. Why? They will sign Michael Vick and he will be their savior. Well. Okay. The logic behind his idea here is that the Lions main problem is not that they are absolutely terrible, but that they aren't selling tickets. Vick will sell out Ford Field, he assumes, and thus, the Lions are all better.

Hopefully NFLN has someone other than Dukes to step in for Schefter if he does in fact leave for ESPN.
