Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports it is a two year 3.5 mil deal.
First off, I am quite surprised. I would think that DJ would prefer a 1 yr deal to this. Two more years of making minimal money. It is possible the Seahawks never stepped up to keep him. As I have stated, they just may not have faith in his ability to stay healthy, coupled with a great deal of faith in the young players.
I will be announcing the winner of the contest later, once the details are confirmed.
Also folks, lets remember, the last time we lost a free agent to Carolina, they came to Seattle and got embarassed in the NFC Championship game that season. This is a little different, but lets all hold out hope for the same result.
