Jose Romero over at the Times is reporting that Chris Gray has announced his retirement. He was at risk for serious injury, "even paralysis," due to his back injury last week, and finally realized it was time to go.
For those who don't know, Gray set a Seahawks record for most consecutive starts in 2006, with 121. He was a stud in a position that often sees injuries and careers cut short. We'll miss ya, Mr. Gray.
(hat tip to the fellows in the comment section of Michael's last post who mentioned this). END~
