Steven Jackson's Holdout Continues

Mike Sando just broke some news that Steven Jackson's holdout is continuing, and it seems no resolution is in the works.

Wow.

If the Rams offense was already labeled with "suck" before this, now it's going to be downright abysmal. Can you picture Lofa, Leroy and Julian really being the least bit afraid of Brian Leonard?! That's a funny thought. I think Leonard will be scraping his own face off the turf of Qwest this year with a chisel if Jackson decides to sit in a corner and pout for any longer.

With our injury problems of late, this is good news. It's also good news that the 49ers are going to settle on a quarterback just as soon as Shaun Alexander finds employment somewhere. (In other words, not soon.)

Y'know, with the exception of the Hawks, the NFC West is probably the most dysfunctional division in the league. It's fun to just sit back and watch the carnage sometimes.

By the way, on a random side note - Logan Payne was back on the practice field yesterday, sporting a red jersey and playing through the "payne" of a cracked rib. (I'm probably never going to stop using that joke.) I'm adding "toughness" to my list of things I freaking love about that kid. -END-
