The 49ers have signed former Hawk FB David Kirtman to their active roster, according to the lower portion of this report by AP sportswriter Greg Beacham. Kirtman was signed to replace Zak Keasey, who was placed on IR this week due to an arm injury.
This doesn't mean much for the Seahawks, of course, but it's good to see the former Hawk who also once blocked for LenDale White and Reggie Bush in their USC days find another home somewhere else. The timing with Shaun's new contract in DC is also interesting. Kirtman was signed by San Fran off of the San Diego practice Squad. -END-
