Not a huge deal, but the "stinger" that Holmgren said DE Patrick Kerney suffered in the Green Bay game shouldn't keep him out of Sunday's action in Tampa Bay. The defensive end rotation isn't something that I'm especially concerned about, but this team really doesn't need any more injuries at any position.
Speaking of injuries, Deion Branch is expected back from a heel injury he sustained in the Giants game. If Seneca Wallace is going to have a remote chance of victory in Florida Sunday, Branch needs to be 100 percent back and ready to go. The multitude of injuries he's been suffering is bewildering, but when Branch is operating at full strength, he's probably the Seahawks' best deep threat (even though it now might seem like forever since we've seen him run a route without missing the next three games.)
TE Will Heller will sit out Sunday's game with a strained knee ligament. It's not clear at this point whether this will end Heller's season, but even if it did, Carlson has firmly established himself as this team's No. 1 tight end. He looked great this weekend against Green Bay, and was yet again a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating game. -END-
