Chris Mortensen just reported on NFL live that Jim Steiner, Shaun Alexander's agent is trying to get Shaun released as soon as possible so that he can find a new team.

He didn't provide any reason why the Seahawks are not obliging. Trey, Jaws, and Mort are now talking about how he got his money and then stopped running hard. They called it the Seahawks biggest fear. I am not sure I buy that as much as he just lost a step at the same time as the line needed someone who would bash it into the hole.

I still believe this whole thing will be resolved by the end of the week.
