Koutouvides Signs in Denver

Adam Schefter has reported that the Denver Broncos have signed Seahawks back up linebacker and special teams ace Niko Koutouvides. The deal is 3yrs and 7.5 million.

Another day, and another player gone. So far the Seahawks have lost Josh Brown, Kevin Bentley, and Niko Koutouvides. All three played primarily on special teams. Considering that, it is conceivable that these players can be replaced later in free agency cheaply, or even with young players who the Hawks want to see develop.

UPDATE-- For those of you who think this has been a frustrating offseason for the Hawks, I just talked to my friend who is a Bucs fan. He is pulling his hair out because the Bucs have 40 mil in cap space and they can't get anyone to sign. That would be aggravating! The Hawks have let 3 special teamers leave, two who probably needed to get out from under the incumbent starters at their position.
