Clare Farnsworth is reporting on his blog at the PI that Nick Greisen has a free agent visit scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Greisen was most recently a back up middle linebacker for the Ravens. He may be intended to fill hole created when both Kevin Bentley and Niko Koutouvides left over the weekend.

2007 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc.
Grade: 59 | Key
Alert: None
Comment: Greisen is a six-year veteran that was originally drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round of the 2002 draft. He signed with the Jaguars before the 2006 season after four years with the Giants. He has adequate size for the position to go along with great instincts and feel for the game. He has good straight line speed for making plays on either sideline although he is a little stiff and can be beat by a good cutback. He is better going forward than when dropping into coverage and does a good job of locating the level of the ball and taking proper angles. He uses his hands well to ward off and shed blockers and does not stay blocked for long. He is generally the one to come out when they go with their nickel package because coverage is not his strong suit. He gets good depth and has route recognition, but he just does not have a quick transition and lacks an explosive burst to close on the ball. He is a strong tackler and does a good job of wrapping up and keeping his feet alive to drive the ball carrier back. He can become engulfed by large offensive linemen so he generally has to play the edges. You can win with this type of player; he is just not the type to be a difference maker.
