One Year Deals....Flavor of the Day

Well, all in one day, three of the bigger names left in free agency all signed one year deals.

What does this mean for the Hawks?? Well, first it is clearly an indication that the money is beginning to dry up for the players left on the market. A lot of them may want to play their way into bigger deals next year. The obvious hope is that DJ comes back on a similar deal.

Also, Ellis Wyms deal never seemed to get finalized as expected. He could return on a one year deal. That would be great for the Hawks because of his versatility.

This is Tim Ruskell time folks. Good teams find solid contributers in the back end of free agency. There are a handful of gems still out there on the market. Lets hope Tim Ruskell has the eye and the funds to get a few on to the team.
