Receivers Starting to Move

In the last few hours, the receiver market has really picked up. This should initiate some interest in the Hawks DJ Hackett. Here is a summary of what has happend...

-Bernard Berrian has signed with the Vikings, it is a 6yr deal. Terms not disclosed yet

-Donte Stallworth has signed with Cleveland, no terms yet

-Bryant Johnson is visiting with Buffalo

-recently released WR Javon Walker is drawing interest from up to 10 teams

-Also, Drew Carter has visits scheduled with the Raiders and Browns

-Supposedly the Broncos are working on Kerry Colbert

The money is flying hot and heavy still, but no word on Hackett. Anybody else get the feeling that he may be calling the Hawks soon to see if they will move on what ever there final offer was. I hope so.

Also, it has be mentioned several places that the Hawks are interested in TJ Duckett, I have not posted about it yet, because I almost refuse to believe it. I think it is fabrication. I think the Hawks would just keep Shaun or draft someone. Duckett is not an upgrade. As has been said, there are only so many spots for running backs on the roster, and Duckett isn't gonna play 3rd or 4th fiddle, even if we had space for him.

UPDATE-- The Saints have resigned Devery Henderson, this could up Tampa's interest in Dj Hackett, however on the beat writers seems adamant that they don't really like Hackett and want to use the #20 pick on a wideout.
