We're getting to this one a little late, but it occurs to me that we should throw something up on the blog about this, just in case there are a few Addicts out there who don't read the other blogs frequently.
The NFL announced on Tuesday that there will be a new fan "code of conduct" at all NFL events. I, for one, think this is a somewhat welcome addition... in theory. Unfortunately, they're hitting too hard on this first iteration, and either a) the rules won't be enforced at all, or b) there won't be anyone left at the end of a game.
The code of conduct is intentionally vague ("Drunkenness and signs of alcohol impairment that result in inappropriate behavior"). This leads me to believe that most people will be fine, but "repeat offenders," such as season ticket owners who happen to also be boozehounds and prone to curse words, could find themselves barred from the event and not permitted to return.
What do you guys think?
