Niners Cut D-Jack

Wow, this is something to wake up to. After acquiring Bryant Johnson yesterday, the 49ers have given Darrell Jackson his release.

To all of you who said Jackson wouldn't be starting, I guess you were right and I was wrong.

First, the Niners are back to having an unproven guy and someone who was born before the pope, Johnson and Bruce respectively.

As for Seahawk interest, I really can't imagine them having any. What upset the Seahawks still remains, Jackson just isn't the type of hard working, company man that Ruskell demands. He will get a job somewhere, but for now, I think trading him to the Niners for a 4th goes down as a win. How many of you thought so when it happened? END
