Path to the Draft

NFLN talked to Seahawks.Net and Football Outsiders writer Doug Farrar about the Seahawks draft needs.

NFLN listed the Hawks biggest needs as Oline, TE, WR, DT, K. Sounds fair. I still think the WR talk is off base. Especially since it still appears Hack may come back.

Anyway, Doug Farrar feels that if the Hawks could get Chris Williams, Tackle, from Vandy, they would be excited. Doug says he may end up being the best tackle in the draft, however he needs a year to put on muscle and refine his skills. Farrar shot down the NFLN's contention that the Hawks would take a WR and said he thought they may address that position, but only in the second day.

One a side note, for all of you just can't wait for the draft, I received my Seahawks Official Draft Hat from Fans Edge today. It is the same one the winner of the DJ Hackett Contest is getting! Now I know what Jonathan Stewart is supposed to be wearing in my dreams! It is actually a REALLY well made hat.
