The remaining members of the mystery group will try and solve the mystery that is the Seahawks offense this Sunday. The team announced today that both Logan Payne and Coutney Taylor will start on Sunday.
Payne will man Nate Burleson's split end position, and Taylor will remain at flanker.
This of course leaves the slot to either Seneca Wallace, Michael Bumpus, or one of the new guys. When asked about Bumpus' prospects of being activated were, Holmgren said...
"We're going to talk about that. We have until tomorrow to make that decision so that will be a point of discussion today and tomorrow morning. Part of it's injury, part of it's special teams. There's a lot of things that go into that."I take that two ways. Either he needs Bumpus for special teams, as I chronicled this morning, or he needs players like Atkins/Babin/defenders,etc because using offensive players like Payne and Carlson was well...offensive. Clearly defenders have more experience tackling, so in away, we need both. ~END~
