Gil Haskell Plans to Retire

by: M. Steffes

You may have seen this in the Rotoworld Widget on the left hand side bar, or you may have read it in the P-I, but Gil Haskell plans to retire. Haskell was the Hawks' OC and Holmgren's right hand man from 2000-2008. The Times says it is possible he could serve in an advisory role, but he and his wife have already headed to So Cal for the offseason. Chances are he won't be back. Seahawk Addicts wishes you well, Gil. How much you did we may never know, but you presided over the glory years of Seahawks football. Hopefully you will enjoy your retirement as much as I have enjoyed your tenure in Seattle. Best of luck. ~END~
