The Seahawks have a new addition to the defensive staff besides for new DC Casey Bradley. Danny O'Neil has been trying to get a name for an interview the Hawks had on Thursday, and it seems he has found it. In his article about the Bradley hire, he mentions that the Hawks have also hired former Jets assistant Dan Quinn to coach the D-Line. Dwaine Board will either not be back, or will be taking on a different role. Great work by Danny on this one.
More on Dan Quinn can be found here. He fits the mold of the new look coaching staff. He is relatively young at 38 years old. He has had limited NFL experience with the 49ers, where he and Mora likely first met, and then the Dolphins and Jets. He re-invigorated Kris Jenkins this year after several down years in Carolina and the Jets D-line performed well last year. The defense is going have a different feel next year to be sure. Lets hope it all works out for the best. END
