One the 643 writers over at ESPN's Hashmarks blog, Bill Williamson, has a little piece about Sam Adams trying to get back into the league.
Apparently Big Sam thinks he has a lot of football left in him. He flamed out last year in Denver. Since then, apparently he has been on the treadmill. He has slimmed down a bit, and is expecting to shed some more pounds. Williamson suggests that he could find work in Seattle.
I think it is an extreme long shot that Adams ends up back in the Emerald City, but it is cool to think about. The Hawks seem to have some d-line depth right now, but I guess that could change. Sam coming back for Holmgren's last year would be kind of ironic, wouldn't it? Sam left the Hawks after Holmgren's first year. It was reported that coach wasn't a big fan of the massive run stuffer. Of course Adams went on to be a key contributer on the Baltimore SB squad. Could coach bring him back now? END
