It seems the exodus is beginning.
Adam Schefter at NFL.com is reporting that the Seahawks have requested permission to interview Patriots' special teams coach Brad Seely.
This is probably a pretty good sign that Jim Mora is looking to clean out the entire coaching staff and start with a clean slate. Bruce DeHaven, the Seahawks' current ST coach, has done an adequate job, but he failed on some glaring occasions this year--namely the Buffalo game.
Seely has been with the Patriots since 1999, and if he did get DeHaven's job, he'd be bringing even more championship experience to the table in Seattle. It seems Mora is starting to pull out the stops, which is a breath of fresh air for the 12th Man.
But keep in mind that this is only a preliminary request, and no word has been given yet as to whether the Patriots will grant the Seahawks' request. This will be an interesting one to watch as things unfold in the early days of the Mora regime in Seattle. -END-
