More Props for Big Walt

by: Michael Steffes

It must be nice to be at the absoulte top of your proffesion and be as universally loved as Walter Jones. I mean when do you ever here a cross word about this guy? He is the perfect fit for Seattle. He is a quiet, unassuming first ballot hall of famer who practically goes unnoticed until an east coast team plays Seattle.

Anyway, onward with the post. TSN has released a new set of rankings, this time choosing to focus on the offensive lines. Guess who is first? No, not the Hawks, the same team they have ranked first in virtually every single list; the Boys. But who cares, that can be expected by now. The Hawks rank 9th, which is maybe a touch low of where I would put them, but they beat out the rest of the division so that is good news.

What I will choose to focus on this time around is that they still list Walter Jones as the best tackle in the NFC. He is. They got this right. Walt has had a rough couple years. He hasn't really had a unit he could rely on enough so that he could just do his job. Hopefully with Wahle here, he can go back to being quiet, unassuming and utterly dominate. Having his shoulders healthy would help too. I feel a revival comin' to town! ~END~
